For 26 years Marigolds family run business has offered High Quality Fish & Chips within and around West Kirby.

Our small friendly business offers a variety of meals to choose from including top quality fish, amazing beef burgers, fresh chicken/southern fried chicken and kid’s menus for the little ones.

We buy your fish from sustainable sources, mostly from the North Sea, at its freshest and cut it ourselves to ensure not only the best parts of the fish are filleted but also that the portions are generous.

The batter is prepared by hand and cooked by skilled fryers to ensure a light yet tasty crisp batter and a fresh flaky fish inside.

Our chicken nuggets for children are sourced from a supplier supplying top quality 100% chicken fillet nuggets.

The potatoes we use are British locally sourced, which we prepare daily by peeling and chipping ready to fry.

I visit Marigolds once a while with my family. We live in New Brighton and travel by train to West Kirby to come to Marigolds. We have never had a bad experience in terms of food, service, hospitality, atmosphere - anything basically, Marigolds is a place that has consistency to do a good job no matter what time of day it is. Marigolds offers takeaway food, or restaurant food - at a slightly higher price - because of the service - waiters, tables, washer- uppers etc.

The Marigold is one of the best fish and chips shops that I have ever been too in my life. It also holds a great deal of nostalgia for me as it's a place I was treated too on Sunday's when growing up on the Wirral.
